9th Malaysia Open 2005 DanceSport Championships
(Open to Asia-Pacific Countries)

1. DATE OF EVENT

The event will be held on Sunday 1 May 2005. This is a holiday-weekend.

2. TIME OF EVENT & DRAFT PROGRAMME

The event will begin at 11:30am, and is scheduled to end around 11:00pm

3. VENUE

The event will be held at the following location:

Olympic Sports Complex,
Wisma OCM, Jalan Hang Jebat,
Kuala Lumpur

4. OFFICIAL HOTEL

The new Official Hotel is as follows:

50000 Kuala Lumpur

Room rates is about RM90.00 (approx S$40.00), inclusive breakfast.

* Restricted Syllabus up to Silver Medal only

6. ENTRY FEE

The entry fee is RM80 per couple.

7. ADJUDICATORS

A panel of International Adjudicators will be invited.

8. REHEARSALS & COLLECTION OF NUMBER TAGS etc

All competitors are required to attend the rehearsals at 9:30am sharp, at the competition venue.

Your number tags, souvenir magazine and other details regarding the championships will be given out during this time.

9. TICKET PRICES

The ticket prices for supporters are as follows

Afternoon tickets: RM40.00 (approx $18)
Evening ticket: 1st row - RM168 (approx $75) .......... 2nd row - RM128 (approx S$60) - both inclusive dinner.

Competitors who do not qualify for the evening rounds, may buy Competitor Ticket at RM80 (approx S$35) - inclusive dinner.

10. TROPHIES & CERTIFICATES

All Champion couples, 1st and 2nd Runners-Up will be awarded with trophies and all finalists will be awarded with certificates. In addition, special prizes will be awarded to Grade A (Open) event as follows:

Champion - RM1,000.00
1st Runners-Up - RM 500.00
2nd Runners-Up - RM 300.00
