The 9th SGDF
Singapore Nationals DanceSport Championships will be held on Saturday
14 March 2009, and it will be held at the Hougang Community Club.
Tickets are available from the SGDF and dance studios at S$25,
inclusive of a buffet meal.
The SGDF is also proud to announce the tie-up between the SGDF and BBC
Entertainment for these Nationals.
Get
ready for glitz, glamour and a whole lot of sequins on Strictly Come
Dancing – a competition between 16 celebrities paired up with
internationally renowned professional dancers and tested to their
limits – in dance moves, of course. From the Tango to the Paso
Doble, celebrities perform in front of a
live studio audience every week, to convince audiences of their
dancing skills and win the competition.
In series four, catch celebrities including former Spice Girl and
top-charting solo artist, Emma Bunton;
co-host of What Not to Wear, Mica Paris, and former Manchester United
goal keeper, Peter Schmeichel, strapping
on their dancing shoes, and working towards the coveted titled of
champions of Strictly Come Dancing.
Hosted by entertainment legend Bruce Forsyth and gorgeous co-host Tess
Daly, Strictly Come Dancing will surprise you every week with
different dance moves and celebrities’ hidden dance talents.
